Road from Toledo - Small Houses

The house is nearly finished so time to return to the Spanish Civil War project.  Sorry for the absence.

I needed to construct some of the buildings for the villages.  To save time I choose to build three houses at a time.

There are going to be three small houses and three larger houses.
The small ones first.

Cutting out the wall and the bases.  Luckily I have a few left over pieces from the renovation of the house.

Gluing the walls and the base.  Held together with pin while it dries.

Plastering up to the cut edges of the walls.

Sanding down and masking off the windows and door.

Boarding up the roof under layer and rough texture paint added.

Painting with medium brown.

Sponging on cream coloured paint.

Light dry brush with lighter cream.

Adding corrugated cardboard to represent the tiles.

Dark brown paint on the tiles.  Removing masking tape.

Drybrushing with a lighter brown.

Heavy drybrush with orange paint.

Doors and windows glued in.

Basing up with Basetex.

¡No pasarán!
